Liquidware Labs Releases New Security and Management Features in ProfileUnity/FlexApp 5.2

Today at Liquidware Labs we released version 5.2 of ProfileUnity and FlexApp. This new releases introduces a number of new features with some significant ones in the area of security and management.

Two of the major ones are for FlexApp:

  • User Rights Elevation Management this is very cool as User Rights Elevation Management for FlexApp now adds an extra layer of security for User Installed Applications, by removing the requirement for users to be local administrators to install applications.
  • “Run With Administrative Rights” -this is another very nice addition with new capabilities include the ability to limit, lockdown, or hide certain parts of the Windows OS from users or administratively control application functionality by leveraging registry key modifications to HKLM (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE).

Check out the Liquidware Labs press release for full details.
